Help install the Yale lock

Cupertino, January 31, 2021

I have two Yale YRD226-CBA-619 locks that I am trying to install. The first one went spectacularly badly and I would appreciate the help. This is the keypad lock and key cylinder on the front. It comes with a white M1 white module, which has a HomeKit QR code and an 8-digit number, as well as a marked SN M1FOJO7 ... The lock and the box are both labeled "YRD226 BDNK7004 ..." or all can be a serial number. It also came with a Connect wall connection module that has a different QR code to Homekit. There is also a Sense magnet for detecting the front door ajar. All locking devices are installed and working smoothly. Both WiFi and HomeKit BLE are strong on the lock. Lots of other HomeKit items work well in the home. The problem is that there are four applications involved (the Yale app, namely the Yale access, which sent me to the Yale Select app; August; the app and the Home app itself) and I don't know what to use in what order to connect. August seems to be the best, but he continues to ask for a "lock serial number," but he doesn't accept any of the ones I have. I'm also not sure if you need to set up the lock or the Connect module first. I would really appreciate the suggestions on what to use and what order to do things. Thank you in advance!
