I just got an Apple TV HD and set it up to be my home hub and used it mainly to stream Spotify to my speakers. I currently use an old Sony receiver and have to turn it on manually while my TV is on with the Apple TV. I have an old receiver from the 70's that I'm trying to restore and I have two real questions. 1) Is there any kind of HomeKit switch that I could install in the receiver when we disassemble it? and 2) If I can enable this receiver for HomeKit, I could set up some kind of automation to turn it on when Apple TV turns on.
