Help with minor issues on HomeKit

Cupertino, February 20, 2024

Ok, so I have a light that seems to have issues, and now I've tried Hue, Nanoleaf, and a dumb bulb in this socket. I'm not sure what the problem is. I have a total of 9 bulbs in my smart home, the other 8 are all nano leaf essentials (sheet, whatever). Everything is up to date. The Nanoleaf and Hue bulbs both have weird issues in this socket. Nanoleaves randomly fade and flicker in brightness. I thought it was a problem with the adaptive lighting, so I turned it off. It kept happening so I took it out and put in a Hue. Shade. I use a white bulb. Not an atmosphere, just a plain white light bulb. It doesn't flicker and fade in the same way. This bulb will turn on randomly. I can't find a rhyme or reason, it's not always the same time period and it's not a specific time of day. If the bulb is off, so far it has always turned on randomly. I turned off all motion sensors and automations to automatically turn the lights on and it still happens. It also has a problem when the bulb is on to randomly drop down to 10%, again with no rhyme/reason. When the bulb goes out, it remains inaccessible for 5-10 minutes, then it will turn on again. Random dumb bulb I had from a portrait lighting kit so it's a sturdy bulb, it's a 105w/110v 60hz bulb, not sure if that counts but no problem with this bulb. So I thought the problem was the switch itself, but this bulb makes it kind of hard to assume. I really can't figure it out, but it's very annoying to have just one light bulb not working properly when the rest of the house is. I'm kind of desperate so I'll try anything you can think of. I'm thinking of using the dumb bulb and putting in a Lutron, I'm in an apartment and don't have easy access to my breaker box, but I'm sure I can get to it, but that's my last hope. resort and I'm not even sure it will work, but I'm thinking about it. Thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions.
