Help with motion sensor and lights

Cupertino, May 25, 2021

I washed the laundry room and the garage to turn on my lights when the movement was felt and to turn it off when it wasn't. I run the otter box switches and aqara motion sensor. It works pretty well, but it becomes a problem if I stay in the room for more than a minute. The light will go out too quickly. Is there a good solution to make this work a little better? Is there a way to bypass the automation so that when I turn on the light via the switch, it stays on until I turn it off, but otherwise I work with the sensor?
