HK compatible thermometer with remote probe

Cupertino, November 17, 2021

Currently, I have Eve Degrees to monitor temperatures and report alerts via HK. I keep one in a garage fridge to alert if the refrigerator turns off and temperatures rise. However, I have a freezer for which I have to do the same, but the thickness of the wall prevents Eve from signaling. Are there HK temperature devices that have a remote probe so I can probe inside the freezer and still have a signal out to send data for automation alerts? ** EDIT ** - If a better option is to use Homebridge and a Raspberry Pi with sensor added, I have a spare Pi. If you know a link to a version of it, I'd appreciate it.
