Although I have a specific problem today, as I do so often, my question is more general: is there a good HomeKit troubleshooting chart somewhere? After you have done the first normal round, where do you go when it is not clear what the heart of the problem is? What really should be included in the “first round” of “all obvious remedies”? Most of us understand how to power hubs, bridges, routers and accessories, but does order matter? What do we go back to when that doesn’t work out? Where to go to see if a certain set of symptoms indicates a certain broken link in the chain? I am a research person, read and ordered in silence, building my knowledge base every time. I’d rather have a “fishing book” than a free lunch today, but I still can’t help but be hungry tomorrow.
HK Troubleshooting, best practices, organization chart, checklists?
