HKSV Impressions - Instead of using another camera provider's Cloud

Cupertino, January 16, 2022

I've had Google dropcam in the past. Must be stored in Google Cloud. Even "HomeKit compatible" cameras like Eufy, Arlo, etc. they use their Cloud to direct their data. This can be a mess waiting to happen and compromising your privacy (see: Eufy !!). I'm most interested in Logitech and Eve for HKSV cameras. Neither seems to require any "cloud" membership or intermediate saving of your video's cloud data. Both are HomeKit cameras and that's it! Of course, I heard that HKSV was defective and insecure. Of course, my impression may be outdated. I'm big in the Apple ecosystem, I'd like an updated perspective based on people's experiences. Thanks!
