HKSV Logitech Doorbell Live Stream Slow, restless and stupid PQ, is yours the same?

Cupertino, November 20, 2021

I just bought a new Logitech Circle View ringtone after carefully watching the online reviews over the last year and waiting for the new 8.12.15 firmware to be released. I'm halfway through the installation process where I added the ringtone to the Home app and start the ringtone via USB. I wanted to test the PQ inside, with the optimal wifi situation being only 10 meters away from my wifi AP. When I try to watch the live stream in the Home app, the video stream is quite hectic, as if running at 2 FPS. It seems that there is about 3-5 seconds of latency between the moment I move and when I see the change appear in the live stream. The live video stream from my 2-year-old Nest Hello ringtone is MUCH smoother than the Logitech ringtone. That sucker is running out right now, and the Logitech bell is still being tested inside. Viewing loggedech HKSV images recorded has a much smoother frame rate. The overall quality of the image looks dark and faint, despite how many lights I have inside. I also removed the plastic sticker from the face, but that didn't make any difference to the brightness of the video. I run 2021 ATV 4k (tvOS 15.1.1) over ethernet, eero pro 6 APs with Ethernet backhaul and gigabit fiber internet connection (although I think this is all local network traffic). The display devices are 2021 M1 iPad Pro (iPadOS 15.1) and iPhone 13 Pro (iOS 15.1.1). Does anyone else have the same experience with HKSV? How slow is HKSV for all compatible cameras?
