This was probably one of the most frustrating things about hiring in the HomeKit eco system. When I had the original Logi circle 2 and the cameras were recording in the logitech firmware, I was able to record the night in color and not in black and white. The color was much lighter than black and white. Since I converted them to HKSV and added circle view cameras, I didn't realize how to record the night in color. Aside from reaching the level of light needed to switch rooms to color, what other option is there? Is it something Apple is working on? A simple switch would solve the problem.
