I have 14 HomeKit compatible cameras (one NetAtMo, nine Circle 2s and 4 Eufy 2cs) spread over two houses. All (so far) on the same AppleID.
After seeing the stories of some of the early adopters of HKSV, here and elsewhere, I am updating, mainly over the 5 room limit, but also because I really like the daily review functionality of Circle 2 and my would love to lose that. The local Eufy warehouse is also beautiful.
I understand that HKSV only accepts registration for five cameras at a time, so if I make the switch, I will have to carefully choose the five. I understand that the others * can also be moved to HKSV, and all will display and work in HomeKit, the only downside being that only five of the fourteen can register on iCloud through HKSV?
If so, is it easy to change and change five running records again? (I don't care much about registering at the house I'm in, but when I'm gone for a month, it's valuable.)
Or is it better to just move five cameras to HKSV for a reason I don't think about, or split them into multiple AppleIDs? (Sounds painful, but if necessary, fine.)
I need a plan before I jump.
