Ever since iOS 15 beta I've had HKSV basically not work, and it still continues to not work after public release. Right now:

- If my HomePod is the hub, all recording options and notification options are not respected. That is, I can ask for a camera to record/notify only animal and it will do it for any motion.

Anyone else seeing this and have a solution? I've already tried power-cycling cameras and factory resetting the HomePod. No change.

EDIT: ok I reset the cameras and that helped with the Eufy cameras but not the Logitech ones. I then reset the Apply TV and forced it to become hub, and that’s seemed to have fixed it?

EDIT 2: ok it worked for about 5 hours and without any reason it stopped working. I might just give up.

EDIT 3: without reason it started to work again! And then stopped working until I restarted my Apple TV. This is wild.

EDIT 4: I noticed the specific recording settings work when the Apple TV is *asleep* and doesn’t work when it’s on. Just ridiculous.

EDIT 5: now it seems to be totally fixed without me having done anything. Works when Apple TV is asleep or not.
