Home automation fails when the iPad is not connected to power

Cupertino, November 9, 2020

I have an iPad configuration as a HomeKit hub and on that iPad I have a personal automation for each hour. In automation, a shortcut is called to obtain the current temperature of a hue sensor and to write the value in a txt file. This works well when the iPad is charging, but for some reason it can't connect to the sensor (by automation, it works well manually) when it's not connected to power.

So I can solve this by always connecting my iPad, but that's not really a solution. Does anyone have another solution or idea?
