HomeBridge and how to get away from it.

Cupertino, October 5, 2021

Because I'm sure most HomeKit users can agree, Home Bridge is an invaluable addition to HomeKit. I am an avid user of the DAR service for only a few specific accessories. I connected my Ring cameras - which barely work. I have cheap Zigbee lights connected to my Hue hub, exposed to HomeKit through the service. I connected a Samsung TV that does not natively support HomeKit. I could go on, but my idea is that I want to stay away from using HomeBridge, because I feel like it's blocked by my home wifi since installation, and I frequently leave HomeKit unresponsive with infinitely "Updating" accessories. Can anyone give advice or point me in the direction of good and affordable HomeKit compatible accessories that can replace my current HomeBridge accessories?
