Homebridge / HomeKit touch screen hub

Cupertino, November 10, 2021

Hi all! I moved to a new house and I even configure the house automation as I like. Part of that means it would be great to have some kind of home center in my living room for easier control of individual scenes and accessories. I'm using an old Mac Mini as a HomeAssistant host / hub, but I'll be switching to a Raspberry Pi4 soon. Could I use an old iPad mini or something like that as my home hub? Is there an RPI image or a decent overlay that would work as well? I would like RPI to do a double task - it could be the host / hub, but I could also add a 7 "touch screen and mount it on the wall so it can do both - it will Did he have enough power for that? What is everyone else doing there?
