Homekey is a mess - works fine for one user, partially broken for another

Cupertino, January 26, 2024

Hi everyone, My wife and I have two Schlage Encode Plus locks that support Homekey. The first lock is on our front door. I installed it last year. It works well with Siri, the Home app and Homekey for both my wife and I. I installed a new lock on the back door yesterday and it's not working properly for both of us. To me, everyone is crazy dorey. For my wife, Homekey will not unlock the lock. However, it works well with Siri and the Home app. My wife has express mode enabled on her phone, she is listed as resident (administrator) in home setup and both phones are on iOS 17.3. Since this is a bit confusing, here's a table: |User|Lock|Installed|Siri|Home App|Homekit| |:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-| |Me|Face|2023|Y|Y|Y| |Me|Back|2024|Y|Y|Y| |Wife|Girl|2023|Y|Y|Y| |Wife|Back|2024|Y|Y|N| However, the icon on her phone screen seems to indicate that the door \_is\_ unlocked. You can see how it doesn't work in this video. Any suggestions anyone has would be incredibly appreciated and thanks! EDIT: Video was broken, here is a fixed version: https://i.imgur.com/z1dOK6w.mp4
