Hi, I’m a little new to Homekit, but I enjoyed installing some of it at home. I have a few Fibaro light switch modules and a few Meross sockets. I would like to increase the number of accessories I have, but I am worried about my router. My two Fibaro light switch modules are not connected to my router, so I assume they are only connected to my Homepods. However, Meross stuff is connected to my router. I assume that connecting to Homepods is the most ideal solution, as it requires fewer things connected directly to my router. I have an Asus Zen AX router, just for reference. It works pretty well, and in fact, the Meross things I have are more responsive than Fibaro switches, which fail to respond 3 times out of 10. I’m just worried that if a lot of devices connect to the router, like It happens with Meross, it will cause some problems. How common / less common is it for Homekit devices to connect directly to the router? Do Eve things connect to the router or can they also connect to Homepods? Of course, if I have the wrong end of the stick with any of these, please correct me.
