I will be moving slowly to HomeKit, as adoption seems to be improving. That being said, one flaw I see in the Home app is the inability to prevent the use of any automation after the lock screen has been bypassed. I’m missing something here or the Home app and specific features can be protected using native security features (e.g. face recognition, touch ID). It would be nice to give up apps like Chamberlain MyQ, but I like that there is an option to request a security check before opening the garage door.
