I want to use one if it's a wall mounted iPod touch, an old iPhone or an iPad mini for the dashboard / main controller for the lights / devices in this room, however I want to know if there is an app out there that will display dimming sliders persistent on the screen and will also allow complete customization of the screen layout, the addition of buttons, etc. Looks like there are some good apps out there (Home + 5, HomeDash), but I'd love to pay $ 20 for an app without knowing if they'll do what I want. We are looking to see if anyone out there has these (or other) applications that can confirm whether these capabilities exist or not. Thanks!
