I just bought some of the P2 door sensors for my house because the Nest Secure service has stopped. I'm trying to figure out how I can use HomeKit to trigger an alarm when the sensor is triggered.
In HomeKit automations there is a way to create an automation for the HomePod to play a siren when "Front door" it is open. But is there any way to customize it further so that this automation only happens when I'm away or "at night"?
I managed to create one "alarm" scene, which essentially works as a panic button... but I'd like to set it up to do it automatically if I'm away.
