HomeKit automation and decibels / luxury

Cupertino, August 31, 2020

There are HomeKit accessories that detect sound and light. The Philips motion sensor, for example, detects light and generates an output between 0 and ~ 14,000 lux, which is visible in the HomeKit and changes dynamically as you adjust the lights in a room.

But is there a way to incorporate that luxury value into a home automation system, so that when the luxury value drops below, say, 500 lux, a light turns on automatically?

Similarly, for HomeKit devices that can measure sound in decibels, is there a way to use the values generated as triggers in home automation?
