I’m trying to buy more cameras, but I definitely want them to be used in HomeKit so that I can use my iPad and iPhone away from home and still have the cameras in picture-to-picture mode via the Home app. I was trying to keep an eye on one of my cats away from home in the Eufy app, but the Eufy app doesn’t allow PiP and less multitasking on the iPadOS. So it was full screen or no screen. Also, with Eufy’s fiasco a few weeks ago (and months ago), with people seeing other people’s cameras and things like that, I’m a little off for Eufy now. I’m not so worried because I have the cameras connected to the smart jacks that turn on / off based on my location (HomePod Mini), but it’s still a bad taste in my mouth. At the same time, it is quite difficult to find other HomeKit cameras in this price range. But I can’t get over the way the quality Eufy interior cams are. I know HomeKit doesn’t do more than 1080p, but I swear Eufy intentionally takes 1080p quality so hard if you specifically enable HomeKit compared to even 1080p with HomeKit disabled. So, is there anything in terms of the best quality 1080p homekit cameras at the worst quality?
HomeKit cameras that actually have good 1080p quality? The 2K Eufy camera inside in HomeKit 1080p looks really awful in HomeKit, however 1080p looks good if HomeKit is disabled
