Homekit compatibility?

Cupertino, November 20, 2020

Two questions here I'm sorry lol. So, first I have an LG 50UM6900PUA and on the LG website it is announced that it has homekit support. So I connect the TV to my phone via the homekit app, but when I go to turn on the TV, can't find it? It can turn off the TV well, but it cannot adjust the volume or it does not work at all like a normal remote control. Am I misinterpreting something? Secondly, does anyone know about a light switch compatible with 1 band, 2 homekit switches?
