Homekit Deactivating the Lutron Switch box before programming

Cupertino, April 1, 2020

Seek help solving a problem I have. I have 2 start / stop switches Lutron Cassette - one for my headlights and the other for the exterior lights next to my garage door. I have a program in which the lights turn on at sunset and go out at sunrise. Sometime after midnight, but before sunrise, the switches are off. If you play them manually when I wake up early, they stop properly at sunrise. I tried this program both in the Home application and in the Lutron application with the same results. I have no other programs or automations set or active.

I know this is a Homekit problem, because when I disconnect my Lutron hub from Homekit, the program works fine in the Lutron application. The lights turn on / off at sunset and at sunrise. I have no idea what triggers the lights in Homekit? I even deleted one of my Homekit hubs, so I only have one hub in case that was the problem. I would like Apple to add a journal feature to Homekit.

Do you appreciate any help in solving this problem or if anyone else saw something similar.
