Homekit / Home application - coolers exposed through a bridge?

Cupertino, October 6, 2021

Is there an easy way to "refresh" a bridge connection in the Home application so that it discovers new devices / changes to old ones? I use HomeKit as a voice interface and application for my home. Most of my devices are configured in the Home Assistant, and then I configured the HASS homebridge integration. Overall, it works well. There are some fantastic automations in HA, but I control most of my stuff only with Siri or the Home app. The problem occurs when I add something new to the Home Assistant or change something more than the value of a few clicks. I've found that the only way I can get new / updated devices to work in the Home / Siri app is to remove the bridge and add it back. Otherwise, all modified devices switch to "No Answer" and new devices never appear. But if I remove / add HASS every time, I have to reconfigure each device, even the ones that worked well before. It's very annoying.
