HomeKit hub accidentally activated on Apple TV remotely

Cupertino, October 26, 2020

I accidentally activated the HomeKit hub on my Apple TV in-laws and it took over as the active HomeKit hub for my house. Noticed because none of my rooms are accessible in the home app. I can tolerate this, but it would be nice to be able to fix it. They can't be physically in front for a few months, and the in-laws aren't technical enough to turn it off again. I'm wondering if I'm deleting and recreating it at home, which might work. Any suggestions?
