I'm toying with the idea of deploying a HK network while camping offgrid. Nothing serious just looking to get the kids involved and see what ideas we can come up with.
I know HK can work without internet. I assume the hub and the most devices need to be initially set up while connected to the internet (would do this at home)? Power supply is obviously a huge consideration, but implementing your homekit won't be a power hog. I will use solar and portable power plants.
Including the HK hub, I'd like to keep the number of hubs as low as possible (thinking Aqara as they have a diverse range of products). Looking for ideas/recommendations on the below.
