Homekit is not available on either Apple TV 4K

Cupertino, September 12, 2019

Hi every one,

Recently, my home from Smartthings converted to Homekit, mainly due to privacy, and I generally prefer Apple products.

While learning how to get started with the homekit, I had to set up and delete the home a few times. Sometimes the device appears connected to the iPad, sometimes from either ATV4K. Very frustrating so I want to delete everything and restart from scratch.

Reading a lot of stuff here, I realized that my ASUS GT-AC5300 is basically a piece of junk and went ahead and replaced it with the Netgear orbi. My network is now solid and I can see my devices from the outside and the few accessories that are in my current home show no problems. (I have almost 100 units but am not adding them right now because deleting / adding is an annoying process).

Now my iPad Pro is the only device that appears as connected. Inside my ATV4K I don't see my home anymore. I reset both factories, deleted them from my iCloud account and added them back. Signed in again with no results.

Still nothing, my iPad is the only hub and I can't add ATV4K as hubs.

Asking Reddit collective minds. What else should I do? Am I missing something?
