Homekit Lock: unlock without authentication without a quick widget

Cupertino, January 31, 2021

Hey guys, I know this is normal behavior and a security feature for FaceID, TouchID or passcode authentication before unlocking a lock with Siri. I like it and I want it to be that way. I created a simple shortcut to unlock my lock, put it in the widget section for quick access without talking to Siri. BUT this shortcut runs even without authentication. Just swipe left on the lock screen, then run it. There is a pop-up in which you have to press Continue, but it will be absolutely unlocked even with the phone locked and without FaceID or password. Why is that? I think it's insecure because a thief could steal the phone and access the widget even without my authentication. What do you think?
