So I’m looking for a smart device that can adjust the light intensity for my smart bulbs, but I can’t seem to find anything good enough. I want it to be self-supporting – either with a power cord or a battery. I’m not looking for a wall-mounted adjustment switch. Basically I would like a smart Flic button, but to be able to rotate it and adjust the brightness of the light. Does Homekit even support native slider / dimmer accessories? Here is what I found at the moment: -Aqara rotary dimmer – it is wall mounted like other solutions … -Xiaoyan / Terncy Smart Dial – has no support for the homekit (only for the button, not for the rotary dial). Use zigbee – I’m wondering if there’s a way to transmit rotating dial events to my homekit lights (which don’t use zigbee). -Senic Nuimo – which would have been amazing, but I think it’s a dead product … – I looked at jog video editing wheels or even wireless DJ faders, but nothing seems robust enough : have a sufficient battery life, be smart enough, look decent, etc. Do you know a good accessory that fits my description? I’m even willing to set up a homebridge server if necessary (as I’ve done in the past with some smart plugs).
HomeKit Rotary Dial / Rotary Encoder / Dimmer Switch / Jog Wheel / Cross Fader? choice
