HomeKit Secure Video - Camera Wish List

Cupertino, February 12, 2021

How long will I have to wait for a 4K POE infrared outdoor camera that works with HKSV facial recognition features. Pan / tilt / zoom would be a bonus, but I know the problem doesn't arise ... Still ... Are there years left? He lives in a busy area. You need something that can reliably capture license plates remotely and be able to do a good job at night. It seems that no one created the "killer app" at ANY price. Look at Robin's $ 700 bell. If people buy the ones you tell me, can't they get the "perfect" outdoor room even for $ 1,000? Looks like no one is interested in doing it. There are probably some industrial / commercial things, but nothing ever comes out with the "perfect" spec sheet, which is plug-n-play for the average owner. Amateur photographers can buy DSLR "prosumer" cameras, but they haven't seen much in terms of home security. Is there a solution to adapt something currently on the market? I will work with anything that is natively compatible with homekit. I bought a few Arlo Pro 2 a few years ago and was completely unimpressed by the Arlo product. Looks like they're cheap on their back servers. On the other hand, I tried the Logitech Circle View Cam and I liked that, no, it just connects and works natively, just like Apple did. Will we ever see such a state-of-the-art outdoor multifunctional camera? Also, why everything is still 1080p. Looks like 10 years have passed. Lotta asks you questions, just looking for your thoughts.
