So, this worked flawlessly in the HomeKit setup: a Logitech Circle View camera set to be “off” when my wife and I are home and to “transmit and allow recording” when we’re both gone. At one point, it ceased to comply with geofence / location rules and continued to flow steadily. Nothing has changed in our configuration other than routine operating system updates for iPhones and HomeKit hubs (two HomePods and an Apple TV). I suspect that Apple has broken or “improved” something from a recent iOS update that is to blame, but I can’t find any evidence. Do you have troubleshooting tips? Both iPhone devices are set to always allow location services for Home.app, and we both share location information.
HomeKit Secure Video completely fubar geofencing recording rules. Help?
