I like the direction Apple went with the HomeKit cameras, but HomeKit Secure Video is such a terrible user experience for me.
Old movies of today are loading fast. But when do you upload movies from days past this? It's incredibly buggy and unstable.
I would go through the timeline and all of a sudden the footage would be uploaded from a different day and a different time, even though when I scroll I'm still on the desired date, but I can't see those specific clips, because I'm still skipping random data.
When I scroll quickly, the application freezes and nothing loads at all. I have to force myself to give up the app.
I can't view the clips I want and it is so frustrating to take my time to get those clips without having to go through the hurdles of the buggy application which can take half an hour to an hour.
Apple didn't even approach this with their new versions, as I said.
