To explain further, I had issues with motion sensors and reliability. Or more precisely: for months I thought it was reliable, but after playing, I probably discovered what was happening and it seems that a certain sensor (movement, in this case) is allowed to trigger a maximum number of times in -a given time interval (10 minutes, 30 minutes, I'm not sure). I didn't find this document anywhere. I was hoping to get a confirmation of this and maybe some concrete data that others found and used to solve the limitation. To give a certain context, I use a motion sensor in the bathroom. When I enter, the lights come on. They are set to stop after 5 minutes if no movement is detected. I live alone, so I can say for sure that this is what happens: the first thing in the morning when I go into automation always works. It seems to work well during my shower, which sometimes lasts about 15 minutes and the lights never go out. Or if I do, I move my arm and the lights come on again. Later, however, if I'm in the bathroom, I do my hair or clean or something, the same thing happens, but at some point, the lights always go out and do not respond to a motion trigger. I have to turn on the lights manually. This has been happening constantly for the last 5 days as I try to do exactly the same routine. Has anyone else experienced this? For reference, I use HomeBridge to connect third party bulbs through the Hue Hub. I tried to increase the duration of the "deactivation again", but this unresponsive phenomenon seems to happen at some point. I would also prefer to keep it short so as not to waste energy.
