HomeKit suddenly bombards me with camera "Motion" notifications when the lights are on

Cupertino, September 22, 2023

I have 6 Reolink cameras connected to an 8 channel NVR. They are exposed to HomeKit via Scrypted. When I set everything up, I set up notifications for only people on some cameras and only people and vehicles on other cameras. I don't want generic "Move" notifications. It has been working fine for months as my new house is finished. If there is a person spotted, I get a person notification...same for the vehicle. I never get motion notifications... perfect. Now that I've moved into the house, I leave some of the outdoor lighting on well after dark until I go to bed. So of the 6 rooms, 4 of them have outside lights that illuminate the area, which is nice because it keeps them in color mode. However, once the lights come on, I get motion notifications all night every few minutes. And I get them in all the rooms, even the ones that don't have lights that illuminate the area (like the back door). I've checked and rechecked all my settings and they haven't changed...they all say "Specific Motion Detected" and set to either Person or Person and Vehicle. The only thing that has changed is keeping the lights on at night. It's gotten so bad that I have to turn off home notifications at night, which of course defeats the purpose. Once the lights are off, I don't get generic "Motion" notifications. Has anyone experienced this or have any idea what could be going on?
