HomeKit Support - All items are "Unanswered"

Cupertino, September 19, 2023

Hi all. I'm trying to find help for a problem I've been having for a while that hasn't gotten better - I'll try to remember all the details as it's been going on for a while. Essentially, going from 16.5 to 16.6 beta (on iPhone and AppleTV) completely killed my Casa and all accessories. I brought this up to Apple over the course of 17 betas hoping it would be addressed, but it wasn't, and GM didn't buy any resolution. When I moved to 16.6, all the items in my house stopped responding with "Not Responding" showing for all items. But there are a lot of quirks and things that behave strangely. * Most items are Hue. These items can still be accessed through the Hue app and any third-party apps that use Hue protocols (and not Homekit). * Other branded items (Eve, VOCOlinc, Logitech) cannot be accessed through Home or their own native apps. * New items (including Hue) are not recognized and cannot be added. * HomePods (2 OG and 6 new Minis) - none are recognized by iPhones or AppleTVs as audio sources, however I can AirPlay from a phone to a HomePod. The HomePod details in the Home app won't show anything that's happening on the HomePod itself, it'll appear to be running in isolation. The HomePods are also stuck on 16.5 and when loading the software update, it won't find anything for any of them. * All this is the same for the other members of the dorm. So far I've completely reset my home router and network (Deco M6 Pro), both AppleTVs (as I've tried each as a hub on its own), all the HomePods and the iPhone the home was created on (I've also tried I setup a test house but it won't recognize or connect to anything). Any suggestions or pointers would be welcome and feel free to ask for clarification on any point.
