Hi all. I saved and saved and I just started working on a new extension. The goal is for the case to be built and finished and then I bring my own electrician etc. to make bits before exiting. I'm quite invested in HomeKit from the beginning, I currently have a few HomePods (first generation) in the house and I bought Philips shade lights since they first came out and changed the hub into one HomeKit once it came out . Currently, I'm thinking about lighting, there will be a mixture of pendants above the kitchen island and also descending spots, the space is quite large, the extension is 10x3 and the current space is quite large. Because of the price of the shade, I was wondering what recommendations you have for lighting, I know the shade was great and ideally I would like colored bulbs for future times with kids etc but 50 GBP a bulb is a lot .... No I want to go cheap, but I want quality, nanoleaf would be better? Also light switches. What did you find best? Finally, there is something you found really important when building a new project to help me in the future, something you would have liked to have made HomeKit wise. Thanks a lot.
