HomeKit Virtual Switch

Cupertino, August 11, 2020

Is it possible to add a virtual switch (perhaps with an application) to the HomeKit?
I wish I could set a few flags (which HomeKit checks when a sensor is fired) and depending on that indicator does one of the two actions.
If statements are already available in HomeKit, but there is no way to set a long-term variable that HomeKit can access.

For example: by pressing a button (HomeKit cannot check the status of my Apple TV), I would like a switch to be activated (let's call it a "movie" switch).
Whenever this switch is on, the lights go out, my sensor in the living room does not turn on the lights, the sensor in the kitchen makes the lights in the kitchen turn on, but they are very dim, and so on.

Logic and programming are possible. I just need that switch / variable.
One solution would be to turn on a very dim light and let HomeKit check this, but this is not what I need, as I will be setting many other convenient flags / switches / variables.

Thanks
