HomePod a better hub than Apple TV?

Cupertino, October 28, 2020

Anyone has better luck with HomePod as a HomeKit Vs. Apple TV? Since iOS14, I've had horrible problems with my Lutron Cassette drives in HomeKit. It would constantly remain "unanswered," and my Siri scenes would never work. I removed them, added them again, updated every device in my house to the latest operating system, and nothing worked.

In a last minute effort, I turned off my Apple TV 4K (hardwired Ethernet) as Homehub and one of my HomePods took over. Since then, everything has worked as it should.

Anyone else in a similar situation? I think a hard wired Ethernet device should be the most stable hub at home, but it doesn't work that way for me ...
