HomePod brick?

My bridge at home is suddenly unresponsive. Plugged into multiple outlets, no response. The Home app says it was recently updated. Has anyone had this problem? Would Apple replace it within the last year, do you think? Also why did my whole hub shut down because of this, I have 2 Apple TVs in the house, why don't I just switch to those?
