I recently received two HomePods to switch from Amazon's Alexa ecosystem, and I'm very frustrated that Apple HomeKit is perhaps the smallest "plug and play" smart home option. Almost every day, HomePod minis lose awareness of my accessories (they say "I don't see any accessories set up" or any other line) and I start to think that Apple HomeKit is only half a beta version. I assigned static ip to every device in my home (homepods, Apple TV, Hue Bridge, surge protector, etc.) and that didn't solve the problem (it's a common suggestion during troubleshooting). I tried to have my wifi have separate SSIDs for 2.4 and 5ghz and have a single ssid while letting Aimesh wifi choose the band ... same issues. Each time, I have to reset my HomePod. At this time, HomeKit functionality does not work consistently. What troubleshooting advice did I miss ?? because this doesn't seem worth enduring, so I assume most of you have a stable functional HomeKit.
