I ordered two on the first day of availability and arrived in the second week of December. Both frequently fall out of the network. In the last few weeks from 14.4, both have stopped responding at different times, requiring a complete restoration. Each restore required several attempts, each time providing different error codes. Today they both stopped answering and will not join to give the "incompatible WiFi" error. I am on a Triple Linksys Velop mesh network with separate 2.4 and 5 ghz bands. After hours of trying, I'm honest, upset beyond any coherent explanation. You want to love these things, but I'm honestly ashamed. In my opinion, Apple has massively given up quality control, if these ugly misfortunes are something to be solved. I was considering a large purchase of wired light bulbs, but on this basis, I would prefer to stay with separate hubs by brand / category. On rare occasions, my Hue had problems, it was a quick restart and a return to the line. Thread and HomePod mini are not ready for prime time so far.
