Yes, I know Bluetooth lights are awful. I bought some of these for very cheap to dissect and build other things from. But here's the thing: my HomePod mini won't talk to them, not directly. Any of my iPhones or iPads can control it directly via Bluetooth. And if I disconnect the HomePod mini and allow my iPad to take over the hub function, it will work normally, of course with the terrible BT delay. But I also have a BT contact sensor. It will talk to ANY of my devices, including the HomePod mini. So I was curious if anyone knew what was different about BT communication to a light bulb with a touch sensor and why the HomePod mini acts as if it just refuses to support BT with that device. The bulb in question is a full color BR30 S30 with updated firmware.
