I have a HomePod that is a little under 2 years old, with a popping problem. It seems that while HomePod is going to bed, which is exactly 8 minutes, I get a loud sound.
Other Reddit posts say that it is probably a short microphone or something similar and that it needs to be repaired / replaced. However, seeing that my HomePod is out of warranty … I was left with the $ 275 fee to “fix” it.
Is there a way to solve this problem? If I go for $ 275 to get a refurbished one, when I can pick up a new one from Best Buy for $ 300, I think shit.
