So basically, here's what I'm trying to accomplish:

I trigger an automation when an accessory is on (a sensor), so when I go to work in the morning, the lights will only turn on for a few minutes, but some mornings when I come down, the light may already be on from another use it.

The problem I get is that even though the light is already on before my automation is triggered, the lights turn off after the timer set in my automation because "accessories turned on by this automation will be off after 2 minutes"

So I guess my question is, how can I get the automation to turn off the light if this automation is responsible for turning the light on in the first place ?? it also stinks because if we have a light on for some reason, if someone happens to pass the sensor, which means the light goes off in 2 minutes, even if the automation is not the reason it was for the first time
