I have 7 HomePods and 1 last generation Apple TV 4K wired. For some reason Apple TV is never the primary hub, not even my 2nd gen HomePod OG. My main focus always seems to be some of the minis.
Everything works fine so no problems with it just wondering why. Apple TV being connected and more powerful should be the most reliable for a hub decision IMO.
