How exactly does facial recognition work on HKSV doorbells?

Cupertino, February 1, 2024

citing [Apple Support](https://support.apple.com/guide/homepod/change-settings-apde6dc8093d/homepod): > “Use HomePod with a doorbell: If you have a HomeKit accessory that you use for a doorbell, tap Chime on HomePod, then choose which HomePod speakers should sound when someone rings the doorbell. And if you have HomeKit Secure Video with facial recognition enabled, HomePod will let you know who's there." I have the Aqara G4 doorbell set to Stream only when you're home, Stream and Allow Recording when I'm out. I've noticed that I get the notifications "Someone which could be \*\*\*\* rang the doorbell" only when the doorbell is set to Stream and Allow recording. Is that how it's supposed to work? Facial recognition doesn't work when the doorbell is set to Stream only? I would I would love to hear your experiences using this feature as it is quite confusing.
