I am building a new house and are currently reviewing room and security options. Now I have to decide if I want to go on HomeKit or the more traditional camera route. My question is how reliable are HomeKit security cameras and do you have regular issues with them that don't work? For example, does it never register or do you need to pair them again with HomeKit or does it become unacceptable etc.? I experienced a lot of problems with lighting with HomeKit and very hesitant at this stage. Thank you!
