How to check Somfy RTS Awning with Homekit

Cupertino, September 9, 2019

We just moved into our new building and do all the home automation through Homekit (very happy so far). We just had an awning installed on the deck that has a Somfy RTS engine and handheld remote control. How can we get it connected to HomeKit? I read that Somfy Tahoma will add HomeKit support this year, but the reviews are pretty bad for that as well.

Are there other bridges that can control the RTS awning? And we won't do HomeBridge ... it might work just fine, but I don't have time to configure it.

If that helps, we have a Lutron Caseta Pro bridge, a Velux Active bridge, the MyQ HomeKit bridge - Not sure if any of these could control it.

Thanks in advance!
