how to enter CurrentTime in Homekit?

Cupertino, October 9, 2021

Hi, all I want is a motion sensor to turn on the lights 100% from 20:00 to 22:00.

[I do precisely this](https://homekitautomationtips.com/how-to-use-time-of-day-as-a-parameter-when-writing-homekit-shortcuts-part-1/), which creates a shortcut in an automation housewives. Before validating the shortcut, I test it, it works perfectly. but when I turn on the sensor, nothing happens. I investigated and here's what I found: - When I send the date on my iPad, I get time in HH: MM, such as 21:34, as my iPad is set up - - When I'm on the phone, I receive h: mm as 21.34, as it is configured my phone "Date formatted" works depending on the device it is running on ... but a sensor / homekit does not have a device, so I am stuck. do you have any ideas on how to make sure homekit gets the right data and uses it?
