I like the performance (and low cost) of the Aqara door sensors, but I want to be able to create an automation that turns on a Hue lamp when the sensor is open for more than 2 minutes (I use them on my refrigerator doors). The Aqara Home app allows you to trigger based on a “Open for over X minutes” trigger, which is great, but you can’t do anything very useful about it other than send a notification or sound an alarm. on the M2 hub. Is there any way (other than Home Assistant) to achieve this through HomeKit automation?
How to get the “Open over …” Aqara door sensor trigger in HomeKit?
